W&M Team With DAVE FOGARTY, winning the unwinnable seems to be an obsession. Defeating increased taxes on oil companies in California and an ill-conceived government contracting initiative are some of the notches on Dave’s belt when he served as day-to-day campaign manager. Recently he managed the statewide school bond campaign. He is also adept at handling grassroots advocacy and public relations programs on issues ranging from water quality to energy use to high-speed internet access. Dave joined W&M 15 years ago, and – unlike Wide World of Sports – he seems to be all "thrill of victory" without the "agony of defeat."
