W&M Team A scale of life’s challenges might put a degree from Stanford University and a stint as a U.S. Marine Corps infantry officer at different ends of the spectrum. DICK WOODWARD carried both into the start of his political career and they served him well as he rocketed up the political consulting ladder. For more than 35 years, Dick has worked in campaign management, public affairs and issue advocacy and is widely recognized for his strategic expertise. We’d have to make a separate web site to discuss all of his honors, but suffice it to say that even his competitors recognized Dick’s outstanding accomplishments and abilities by electing him president and chairman of the bi-partisan American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) and inducting him into the AAPC Hall of Fame. Dick lives in Hillsborough with his wife, Mary, and is tremendously proud of his two sons, Brendan and Ryan. What kind of boss is he?
